The pilot project took place in summer

and Southwark. 110
pupils took part in the pilot programme.
These schools and colleges formed the pilot:
Archbishop Tenison’s School, Lambeth
Archbishop Michael Ramsey Technical College, Southwark
Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School, Islington
Parliament Hill Girl’s School, Camden
Westminster Kingsway College, Camden
The initial phase of the project made use of existing
research and drew on the expertise of teachers and FE tutors in
the pilot schools
and colleges to identify the skills needed for successful progression.
See learning outcomes The materials comprise the teaching resources
developed as a result of the pilot project. Each of the 7 units
includes photocopiable masters
of full teachers’ notes, activity sheets and fact sheets for
pupil use. In addition each pack contains a set of reference
cards for research into specific career areas and qualification
types. We hope that you will find these resources useful in delivering
progression skills to your pupils and students. We warmly welcome
your feedback and evaluation based on your own experience of using these resources
in the classroom, at progression days and HE widening participation
workshops. |
