An activity to encourage the planning of
realistic and robust pathways to HE from
whichever rung the student is currently
occupying.
Two versions are provided depending
on Level of current study and planned
progression.

3 |
A simple questionnaire based game to
illustrate the breadth of careers within the
world of Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality.
It encourages students to look at their
strengths and preferences to find a good
‘fit’ with a career. A class based exercise
that gives a framework to some further
individual research into career and
progression possibilities.
Students from Year 10 upwards.

Based in London’s SouthBank and
Bankside area this activity gets students
to think about the needs of a client by
preparing a tour for them. Students are
guided through the necessary stages of
fieldwork and research.
Students studying Tourism courses from
Year 10 upwards.
Students studying Geography courses from
Year 9 upwards.
